Senior Selection Policy Summary (2026/27)
The Tuggeranong Valley Cricket Club Selection Committee operates with complete fairness, objectivity, and transparency. Senior grades are selected with the goal of fielding the most competitive squads across 1st to 6th Grade while fostering developing youth players.
All players must confirm their availability via the club availability portal or to their grade captain by 8:00 PM Tuesday prior to the upcoming match weekend.
Regular attendance at Tuesday and Thursday turf net sessions is a core criterion for First, Second, and Third Grade selection unless an exemption has been granted.
Batting form, bowling workloads, fielding commitment, wicketkeeping requirements, and sportsmanship dictate grade positioning.
Players who are dropped or shifted between grades are entitled to constructive feedback directly from the selection panel or the relevant team captain.
