Tuggeranong Valley Cricket Club Inc. (“TVCC”, “we”, “our”) is dedicated to safeguarding the personal information of our players, parents, volunteers, donors, and sponsors. This Privacy Policy sets out how we handle your personal data in compliance with the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs) under the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and Cricket Australia's National Privacy Policy.
2. Information We Collect
To effectively organise cricket competitions, maintain player safety, and communicate club events, we collect:
- Player and parent contact details (names, email addresses, phone numbers, residential addresses).
- Player dates of birth, emergency contact numbers, and pertinent medical or allergy disclosures.
- Registration payment records and transaction IDs via PlayHQ. (Note: TVCC never stores credit card details).
- Volunteer Working With Vulnerable People (WWVP) registration numbers and accreditation statuses.
- Match statistics, scorecards, and player performance records recorded in official competition platforms.
- Inquiry form details submitted through our website (tvcc.org.au).
3. PlayHQ & Cricket Australia Integration
Player registrations, season fixtures, and match results are administered via Cricket Australia’s official platform, PlayHQ. When you register to play with TVCC, your information is subject to both this Club Privacy Policy and the PlayHQ / Cricket Australia Privacy Policy. 4. Photography & Match Imagery
Cricket is a public community sporting event. Photographs and videos taken at Chisholm Oval, Conder Oval, or presentation nights may be published on our website, social media pages, and annual reports to celebrate player milestones and team victories. If you or your child prefer not to have photographs published, please notify our Secretary in writing at secretary@tvcc.org.au.
5. Data Security & Access
We implement reasonable physical and digital safeguards to protect personal information against loss, unauthorized access, misuse, or alteration. Only authorised committee coordinators, coaches, and team managers are granted access to player contact details for operational and safety purposes.
6. Accessing or Correcting Your Information
