Our Story

Four Decades of Pride

Tuggeranong Valley Cricket Club was formed in 1984 following the amalgamation of South Woden and Woden cricket clubs. Admitted directly into the ACTCA First Grade competition for the 1984/85 season, the club quickly established itself as a sporting heartbeat for families across the Tuggeranong Valley.

In 1986/87 the club relocated from Deakin Soccer Oval to establish its permanent headquarters at Chisholm Oval (Proctor Street). Over four decades, TVCC has grown into one of the ACT’s most decorated clubs — lifting 10 Territory Club Championships and producing Australian internationals, state captains, and hundreds of lifelong club members.
